Afric-Style was founded in 2011 by CEO and designer Axelle Moudouma. From a young age, Axelle had a passion for fashion, starting with altering clothes for family members and designing outfits for her Barbie dolls. Dreaming of becoming a renowned designer, she moved to America in the early 2000s, where she found inspiration in the iconic Disney star from That’s So Raven.

As she honed her skills, Axelle began designing for the children’s ministry at her local church. Afric-Style gained wider recognition in 2015 with a signature design featuring African prints on T-shirts. Since then, she has continued to grow as a self-taught designer. Today, Axelle aspires to expand Afric-Style even further and establish herself among the top names in the fashion industry.
